Poster Presentation is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas among participants. This format provides an interactive dynamic where attendees can engage directly with presenters by asking questions and discussing the work in a more informal setting. Poster Presentation is an excellent opportunity for both presenters and attendees to network, gain feedback, and inspire new collaborations. Accepted presenters will 60 minutes for presenting and discussing their research.
These are the guidelines to prepare for the poster presentation at the 9th ICMI-East Asia Regional Conference on Mathematics Education (EARCOME 9). Please follow the instructions below carefully to ensure the smooth flow and success of your presentation.
There will be
two poster sessions held during the conference. Each session will feature 29 and 24 posters respectively. Presenting authors are encouraged to stand by their posters during the scheduled session to give a brief oral explanation to interested participants. The
poster display area is located in
1F Lobby (in front of Room 109).

Presentation Preparation
Conference Language
The official language of the conference is
English. All presentation materials must be prepared in English, and oral explanations should also be given in English.
Poster Board Dimensions (vertical format)
Poster boards will be provided for displaying presentation materials.
Board dimensions: 1000 mm × 2500 mm
Poster Size Options (choose one)
A0 size (841 mm × 1189 mm)
B-type full-size paper (788 mm × 1091 mm)
All posters must be based on the
paper submitted and accepted by the Scientific Program Committee.
Poster board numbers will be posted on site by the conference secretariat.
Mounting and Supplies
The secretariat will provide general tape, scissors, and other necessary supplies for poster mounting.
Please
do not use foam boards, thick or multi-layered materials, or pushpins directly on the poster boards.
Make sure that your poster is made from a material suitable for affixing with the provided supplies.
Please note that
the poster itself must contain the entirety of your presentation. No tables or additional equipment will be provided.
