| Invitation from an EARCOME 9 LOC Member – Join my Informal Tour! 2025.07.14 |

Hello! I’m Kyungwon Lee, a member of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for EARCOME 9. I’m a teacher at Dankook University Middle School, and also a PhD candidate at Seoul National University. While no official tours are offered during this conference, a list of suggested excursions is available on the website. As a LOC member, I’d like to invite you to join a few informal tours that I will be personally leading. If you’re interested, feel free to join us! Confirmed Tour July 22 (Tue) – Tour of Seoul National University – Gwanak Campus Seoul National University’s main campus is located in Seoul, near the foot of Gwanak Mountain. After the conference program ends for the day, we’ll stroll around the campus, enjoy the scenery, and have dinner nearby before returning to the hotel. Optional Tour Ideas (Subject to Interest) July 20 (Sun) – Evening Walk near the Conference Hotel We’ll visit Soraepogu Fish Market, a traditional seafood market with a long history in Korea. We’ll enjoy a seafood dinner, take a light walk, and visit a local landmark, the Youth Media Tower. July 23 (Wed) – Insadong, Gwanghwamun & Deoksugung Tour We’re also considering a full-day tour to Seoul, including Insadong, Gwanghwamun Square, and the historic Deoksugung Palace. If you’re interested in either of these additional tours, please indicate them in the survey form. This will help us decide whether to include them. Please note:
